Austen is a world renowned English author, whose works have been adapted numerous times into movies, tv shows and plays. Many who have stereotyped her work as being "for women" have found her works to be clever and witty; as they challenged the social norms of the day. Reading Austen is not only entertaining, but it's beneficial in developing your theory of mind, being culturally literate, and teaching important life lessons.
